Kenneth J. McCoy is President and co-Founder of Trusted Data Solutions. Prior to founding Trusted Data Solutions, McCoy was the IT Director at Louisiana Center for Manufacturing Sciences (LCMS) where he lead the efforts to establish a nonprofit IT division focused on bringing large-scale IT projects to Northwest Louisiana. As the center's IT director, Mr. McCoy was responsible for all IT-centered business and technical operations of LCMS.
Before working at Louisiana Center for Manufacturing Sciences, McCoy was a Systems Engineer at Dell Computer Corporation, one of the largest PC, server, and storage manufacturers in the world.. In his tenure at Dell, McCoy was responsible for designing and deploying enterprise wide network management systems. The systems were responsible for monitoring thousands of servers in real-time for errors and collecting performance data for capacity planning reports. He also worked to develop high-availability and disaster recovery solutions for Dell's critical business servers. In addition, he worked at Electronic Data Systems (EDS), which is a $21.5 billion revenue company that supports the world's leading companies and governments in 60 countries. While at EDS, McCoy supported the network infrastructure for the Shreveport General Motors assembly plant.
McCoy graduated from Louisiana State University in Shreveport with
a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and later went on to receive
a Master's of Science in System's Technology. In addition, Mr. McCoy
holds several of the leading industry certifications such as the
MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) certification in both
Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000, MCDBA (Microsoft Certified
Database Administrator) certification for Microsoft SQL Server 2000,
the CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certification, the
CCDA (Cisco Certified Design Associate), Network+, and is certified
as a Cisco Wireless LAN, Voice, and Voicemail Specialist.
